MaKayla graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2025 with a Ba.Ed in Human Development and Family Science and a BA in Public Policy with a concentration in education and labor markets. Having worked with kids as a summer camp counselor and nature preschool teacher, she knew she wanted to continue working with kids and looked into ABA. A little before graduating from college, she began working as a BT and earned her RBT certification shortly after.

When she is not working, she enjoys live music, pottery painting, puzzle books, and spending time with her dog, Foxy.
